"The Monks Yard is a fantastic place for homeworkers, mobile workers, digital nomads and anyone who needs a change of scene to come and work. MY Workspace provides the perfect environment for productive working along with a social aspect to find out what others are working on and to make links and share information to help local business. It's a brilliant antidote to the isolation of homeworking. The room itself provides a bright, spacious location for working in, located in inspiring surroundings and with friendly and accommodating staff. Where else can you get a cup of tea and cake brought to your desk? I cannot recommend this facility highly enough for those in the local area - and for those passing by who need somewhere to catch up with emails, make phone calls or use office facilities. Next time you're stopping by at the coffee shop, why not take a look at the opposite building and see if it would work for you?"

"Monks yard enabled us to have a relaxed and peaceful retreat. The facilities and venues were easy to use and adapt to our needs resulting in a smooth programme. Our retreat was on the theme of solitude and being away from a busy town with so much space really helped us explore this theme for the weekend. We want to say a huge thank you to the staff at Monks yard for their support in making a wonderful atmosphere and venue for the retreat."

"We would just like to thank everybody who helped and organised our Christmas party this year. It was lovely to be greeted with a glass of champers upon arrival. The venue looked stunning and the food was faultless. We were well looked after all evening by the helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the sing star superstar on the presentation equipment provided and we all had a wonderful evening. "Dear Marilyn Just a note to say a big THANK YOU for the use of Monks Yard during the past eight months or so. We (the Committee), our members, visitors and demonstrators alike have thoroughly enjoyed being with you this season.
